BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — A new retailer opened in Boardman just in advance of the holidays.
Pop! Art Publications Culture experienced their grand opening Saturday. They are advertising pop lifestyle memorabilia that could make for a perfect gift.
Neighborhood artist Jennuhlee painted art for retailer-goers. They also held their “My Mother Thinks I’m Cool” trivia contest about pop society.
The retailer is stuffed with comic guides and other sci-fi reads, all of which are secondhand. Retail store operator Craig Duster said it will help set his shop aside.
“There’s likely to be stuff that you did not know that you wanted. Employed publications is not a person of these factors that you can go to a internet site and kind of glance and say ‘Hey, I require this and I need this.’ You wander into a applied guide shop and you look close to and you see things and you are like, ‘I’ve hardly ever found that,’” Duster reported.
The keep will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s at 6949 Market Road.
